An account is only there to keep your save states. Two ways to have one — pick whichever suits the machine you play on.

Your saves go to the archive, so a case you start on a laptop carries on from the same spot on a phone. Sign-in happens on Google’s own page — we never see your password, and only ever receive your name and email.
By signing in you agree to the terms of use.

Make a browser account
No Google account and no email: pick a codename and a password, and it is created here in your browser. Saves are encrypted with that password and never leave the machine — which also means they don’t travel to another one.
You don’t have to do either. Play as a guest and your progress is still saved in this browser — it just isn’t tied to a name, so anyone else on the same browser picks up where you left off.
What we keep, and what we don’t
Plenty of people playing these are kids, and a lot of them are on a school computer. The short version, without the legal throat-clearing — the long one is on the about page.
- We keep almost nothing. A name, an email, your saves. A browser account never reaches us at all.
- Nobody is profiled. Ads on game pages are picked by the page, not the reader. No profiles, nothing sold.
- The saves are yours. Export any of them as a file, and delete the account and everything on it yourself.
